Timothy and Shelby are married! This winter wedding was BEAUTIFUL. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year! Timothy and Shelby are two of the sweetest and warmest people you’ll ever meet! They are perfectly suited for each other and compliment each other so well.
The moment Shelby told me they were getting married at Proctor Farm in Rome, GA I was SO excited! We did a wedding there once before and let me tell you, this venue is beautiful! There are so many breathtaking photo locations all around this property.
The deep burgundy, navy, and gold wedding colors really popped and fit so well for this intimate December wedding! Each little detail was perfect. Shelby’s mother shared with me that the wooden ornaments that were being given out as wedding favors were handmade! The design was drawn by Shelby and then they branded it on to the cut wood, how special!
Now, let me share with you one of the sweetest moments I have ever witnessed! Shelby and her father decided to do a first look (I highly recommend!!!) Her father was dressed and ready to go early in the day and kept waiting patiently for the moment he could see his baby girl. When that time finally came, he turned around and saw his daughter as the most beautiful bride and he completely melted. There was not a dry eye around!
When the big moment finally came, Timothy stood there trying to hold back tears as he was moments away from seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. As Shelby entered the little wooden chapel, the guests stood, and she locked eyes with Timothy. They were surrounded by family and friends but in that moment, they only saw each other. This was the moment they had been waiting for! And it was sweeter than anyone ever imagined. They humbly followed in the Lord’s foot steps and washed each others feet as a sign of love and devotion to one another. While they stood together, they linked hands and prayed for God to bless their marriage. This was truly a sweet and intimate wedding ceremony.
As Timothy and Shelby made their exit, sparks flew as they shared one last kiss. Josh and I loved every moment of this wedding day. We really felt like we were taking wedding photos and celebrating with our lifelong friends!
Enjoy some of our favorites from their amazing wedding!
