Al & Emy’s A Heartfelt Vow Renewal at The Ringling
Some love stories are filled with more than just romance—they are built on resilience, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to one another. Noemi and Alcides’ intimate vow renewal at The Ringling Museum in Sarasota, Florida, was a literal dream come true, a day celebrating not only their love but the strength they’ve shown through life’s greatest challenges.
Noemi has been bravely navigating Invasive Ductal Carcinoma HER2, and despite everything she has endured, her spirit and love for Alcides remain unshaken. Thanks to Wish Upon A Wedding and an incredible team of vendors who generously donated their services, Noemi and Alcides’ long-held dream of a wedding at The Ringling became a reality—on their actual wedding anniversary.
A First Look Filled With Emotion
The day began with a deeply emotional first look. As Noemi walked toward him, Al turned and instantly broke down at the sight of his beautiful bride. It was a moment that held years of love, trials, and triumphs—a reflection of their journey together. From that moment on, the day was filled with joyful tears, warm embraces, and an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
A Ceremony in the Iconic Searing Loggia
For years, Noemi and Alcides had dreamed of having a vow renewal ceremony at The Ringling. Standing beneath the stunning pink halls of the Searing Loggia, that dream finally came true.
Their ceremony space was brought to life by Kelly Kennedy’s incredible planning and design. Shy Chic Boutique created breathtaking wooden floral arrangements in deep purples and reds that beautifully contrasted against the historic architecture. With their closest friends and family gathered around, Noemi and Alcides recommitted their vows to one another, celebrating the love that has carried them through. It wasn’t just about promising forever—it was about celebrating the fact that they have another day together, a gift that means more than words can express.
As the sun began to set, we explored The Ringling’s breathtaking grounds for golden hour portraits. One of my favorite moments from the day was when Noemi put on a pair of boxing gloves hand-painted with the breast cancer ribbon for some photos. It was such a powerful tribute to the strength she has shown throughout her battle. In that moment, she wasn’t just a bride—she was a fighter, a survivor, and an inspiration.
The Reception
The celebration continued with a reception at The Ringling Grill Room, where laughter and love filled the air. The night was full of dancing, incredible food, delicious desserts, and a guest favorite—an audio guest book! The tables and seating chart featured beautiful golden butterflies, Emy’s favorite, as they symbolize “new life.”
