An elegant fall wedding at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
Thomas and Natalie are married!!! This Disney loving couple began their “happily ever after” at the beautiful Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club near Sarasota, Florida.
The planning and design of the wedding was done to perfection. As usual, Laura Detwiler and her team went above and beyond expectation. The lavish tones of purple and gold went beautifully with Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club’s elegant architecture. One of my favorite elements was the staircase leading to the ceremony site. It was wrapped in greenery and twinkle lights to really give off a fairytale wedding vibe.
I loved starting the day with the girls in the bridal suite. The bridal suite has a ton of great space for capturing bridal details, hair and makeup, and making Tik Tok videos haha! Honestly, Natalie’s Bride Tribe was amazing and so much fun to be around!
When the wedding ceremony began, a flood of emotion and joy came over Thomas as his best friend, his bride, walked down the staircase towards him. I thought that it was very sweet and special that Natalie’s father, Rick, officiated the marriage ceremony. Rick started off the ceremony by quoting the Princess Bride, a movie he has watched several times with his daughter. Thomas and Natalie said their “I do’s” on the lush lawn overlooking the fairways and a fountain-filled lake.
After the ceremony, we explored the grounds taking bridal party pictures and stunning husband and wife portraits. The entire time, Thomas could not stop smiling at just the thought of Natalie having become his wife! It was so sweet!!
Natalie and Thomas decided to do a “room reveal” upstairs in the banquet hall before the reception began. Their jaws dropped to the floor when the doors opened and they saw their dream come to life. Once the reception began, the night was filled with non-stop dancing! DJ Scooter even got out on the dance floor and taught the guests how to line dance!
Thomas and Natalie ended the night with a romantic private last dance and walking through a tunnel of bubbles. This truly was a magical ending to their wedding day! Scroll to see many favorites from this incredible day!!
