This summer, I met up with Bret and Courtney to capture engagement pictures at Siesta Key Beach. Siesta Key is super special to them because they actually met there!
Courtney grew up vacationing at Siesta and always loved checking out new places in the area. On one of her trips, she went to the Siesta Key Wine Bar to enjoy the beautiful weather and have a quiet evening. While there, Bret confidently approached her and began a conversation full of smiles and laughter!
Bret being the romantic that he is, planned the perfect surprise proposal. While visiting New York City during Christmas, the couple decided to go ice skating at Rockefeller Center. When they made it to the center of the ice rink, Bret handed his phone to someone and told them “just keep taking pictures. Bret then got down on one knee and asked his best friend to become his wife. In total excitement and surprise, Courtney said the easiest “yes” of her life!
I loved spending time with Courtney and Bret at Siesta Key Beach for their engagement session. They are the nicest couple and extremely fun to be around! I cannot wait to see them again and celebrate their wedding at The Powel Crosley this November!!
