Jay and Joy had the sweetest, intimate wedding on Upham Beach in St. Pete, Florida. The cool November breeze and the sound of the crashing waves created the perfect surrounding for this Texas couple.
I was so honored when I got the phone call about photographing their destination wedding. After a short while on the phone with these two, I was so excited to meet them and capture their big day!
Jay and Joy really are a perfect match. The very first piece of jewelry he gave her was a bracelet with an engraved puzzle charm. I love how they incorporated puzzle pieces in their wedding day. Not only does it symbolize these two lives interlocking and becoming one, but also the Lord who blesses us with all the pieces we need to complete our lives.
This was one of the absolute sweetest weddings Josh and I have ever been a part of. Jay and Joy decided to join hands before the ceremony and cover the day with prayer, just as they have since day one of their relationship.
The evening ended with one of the best receptions we have ever witnessed! The night was filled with singing, dancing, and even karaoke; I couldn’t help but to sing and dance along! Joy’s sister turned her maid-of-honor speech into a song; it was the absolute sweetest “speech” filled with both tears and laughter.
Congratulations to this beautiful couple. Praying the Lord blesses your marriage and new adventures as husband and wife!
