Nathen and Malia’s wedding at The Westin in Sarasota was a perfect mix of elegance, heartfelt moments, and so much fun! The Westin’s panoramic views provided a stunning backdrop for their special day. After capturing their engagement session, I knew their wedding would be a reflection of their sweet connection and the deep love they share with their families and friends.
Malia’s morning was filled with emotional first looks, starting with her bridesmaids and dad. The tears flowed before she even saw Nathen! Her first look with Nathen was especially touching as they exchanged private vows with their parents watching, adding even more meaning to their day.
Their bridal party was the perfect hype team throughout the day, making it a joy to capture all of their laughter and excitement. Their friend Justin, the “flower man,” had everyone laughing during the ceremony as he tossed petals with style. After the heartfelt ceremony, we headed up to the rooftop just in time for the most magical golden sunset. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and that “just married feeling” between Nathen and Malia radiated as they soaked in those moments together.
The reception was full of elegant details with an abundance of candles and flowers, creating a romantic, warm atmosphere. The bridal party’s entrances were hilarious and got everyone up, but the party really kicked off when Malia and her father took to the dance floor! Halfway through their father-daughter dance, they surprised everyone with a fun, upbeat transition and absolutely tore up the dance floor! The fun didn’t stop there—Malia changed into her second dress for the reception, and guests danced the night away with glow sticks, laughter, and even fatheads of the bride and groom making an appearance!
