A Spring wedding at Marie Selby Gardens.
Heather and Bakie are MARRIED!!! They had a dreamy Spring wedding at Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota, Florida, surrounded by the beauty of nature and their loved ones. From the beautiful sunny weather to the stunning scenery, it was the perfect setting for their special day.
Their choice of colors, sage green and light blue, perfectly complemented the natural surroundings and gave the wedding a fresh and airy feel. From the bridesmaids’ dresses to the table settings, the color scheme was evident and cohesive throughout the entire event.
One of the most heartwarming moments of the day was when Heather and Bakie shared a First Look, taking a moment together to reflect on the love they share before the ceremony began. He was in complete awe and could not take his eyes off of her! But they didn’t stop there, they also did a first look with their fur-baby, Harper. The photos of the three of them together are some of my absolute favorite!
As the ceremony began, guests were treated to the sounds of the live harpist and a stunning view of the gardens. As Heather made her way down the aisle, looking absolutely breathtaking in her dress, Bakie was waiting at the end holding back tears, ready to marry his best friend.
The sweet moments and fun continued at the reception. After the newlyweds shared a beautiful first dance, some loved ones gave a toast to the couple. The speech Heather’s sister gave had everyone laughing (and tearing up!) the entire time. As the night went on, the dance floor was filled with tons of singing and laughter especially when the wedding planner, Laura, brought out light up foam sticks and glowing tambourines!!
Overall, it was truly a wonderful day celebrating Heather and Bakie at Marie Selby Gardens. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites!
One of my favorite details from this day was Heather’s robe. Her robe was made from her mother’s wedding dress! This is such a unique and sweet keepsake Heather can keep forever!
